Ness Bowden

G’day, I’m Ness and I am glad you have found my little corner of the world. I believe that living a healthy lifestyle begins with developing and maintaining a strong mind which therefore leads to developing a strong body and being able to reach your maximum potential in all aspects of your life. 

I truly believe that with the right tools everyone has the ability to take control of their health. I create personalized programs designed to optimize your health through sustainable lifestyle shifts resulting in effortless weight-loss and weight management. 

I undertook my tertiary study at the University of Sydney, competing two degrees; Bachelor of Applied Science, in Exercise & Sports Science, and Bachelor of Science, in Nutrition and Dietetics with Class One Honors. 

After completing my dietetics internship in Sydney, Australia I started my own dietetic consulting business. I worked as a clinical dietitian in the private, community and hospital settings where I provided individual nutrition counseling and led multidisciplinary disease management programs. This has lead me to have an extensive experience in a range of clinical areas with a variety of patients with different health and nutrition goals. 

In 2014 I embarked on a new journey of moving to America and living abroad. Originally living in NYC for 2 years and then moving to Chicago where I started a new career as a Luxury Travel Designer, tailor making and handcrafting luxury trips for a range of clientele to some of the most remote parts of the world. 

I have been in Chicago for a few years now and have recently decided to combine my 3 passions of fitness, nutrition and travel to help change and improve the lives of others. 

These qualifications and experiences, mixed with years of training and competing as a competitive athlete have brought me to the present moment seamlessly… 

My aim is to help you identify your wellness goals, design a holistic program that fits your physical and emotional needs, while also showing you how to maintain balance in all other areas of your life. The best part is that I am a real person who loves food and exercise. I am also in the know with the most up to date food and exercise science. I combine both to help you find a way of living that you love and that helps you reach your health goals!

I’m known for my ambition, empathy and honesty—all traits I use throughout my coaching programs. I will be there for you to educate, empower and inspire you to be the very best version of yourself, whilst also keeping it real and telling you the hard facts and truth of the  matter.

Fitness

I have always had the drive and love of fitness. As a former competitive swimmer and cross country runner this is something that is ingrained in my DNA. I have completed over 6 marathons, in a number of different countries and the gym is like a second home to me. I am excited to help others achieve their fitness goals along with me.

Nutrition

As dietitian with my own business consulting clients in their individual nutritional needs. I love to share my knowledge on the science behind the food, but also offer clever hints for making easy, delicious recipes that both nourish and fit in with different lifestyles. I truly believe food should be enjoyed not avoided.

Travel

Working as a Luxury Travel Designer for the past 6 years I have had the amazing opportunity to travel the world myself but also change the lives of my clients through travel. My favorite memories always occur when I push myself out of my comfort zone and discover something unexpected. Follow along for all my travel tips and tricks.
