50 Calorie Healthy Brownies

Bet you didn’t think this was possible… Some people in my house hold seem to think that because they are only 50 calories they can eat the WHOLE tray of brownies. Unfortunately, that does 2 things.. 1) leaves the rest of us with no brownies, and 2) leaves the rest of us with no bloody brownies.

Therefore I will be making these in batches to satisfy everyone. These are deliciously light and moist, and I think they are the perfect substitute to regular brownies which are totally loaded with butter, sugar, flour, and more. Making them hands down one of my favourite go to recipes when I am craving a sweet treat without the added sugar and calorie intake.

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Cocoa powder – Quaker Oats Old Fashioned – 42 oz – 2 pk by Quaker""“>Quacker

1/2 Cup Chobani Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt, 16 Ounce — 6 per case.""“>Nonfat Greek yoghurt

1/4 Cup Musselman’s Unsweetened Apple Sauce – low calorie, gluten free snack, low sodium, kosher, fat-free, no cholesterol, no high fructuse corn syrup, from 100% fresh American Grown Apples. (48oz x 8)""“>Apple sauce (unsweetened)

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Pinch salt

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Cup Cocoa powder
  • 1/2 Cup Old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 Cup Stevia
  • 3/4 Cup Non-Fat Greek Yoghurt
  • 1/4 Cup Skim milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/3 Cup Apple Sauce (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • Pinch of salt to taste
  • Handful of unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Combine all ingredients into a blender or food processor (I used my NutriBullet), and blend until smooth
  • Grease a baking dish.
  • Pour blended mixture into dish and bake for 15 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle on coconut flakes.
  • Put the dish back into the oven for 5 mins.
  • Once cooked allow to cool completely before cutting into 8 squares.
